periportal necrosis and bridging necrosis

Formation of bridging fibrous septa
HBV: "ground-glass" hepatocytes, "sanded" nuclei
HCV: bile duct epithelial cell proliferation, lymphoid aggregate formation
Cirrhosis: The end-stage outcome
Fibrosis with regenerative nodules with proliferating hepatocytes.
